As a collector and admirer of the “center shaft” putters, I couldn’t wait to receive this unique looking putter. The milling is very unique and unlike any other putter manufacture in the industry.  Its cross milled face finish or IND*X is a state-of-the-art design, produced by our patented, computer-driven milling process. Aesthetically beautiful, with a stunningly luxurious look and feel, the IND*X face finish is CNC-milled technology “pushed to the edge”. Using an innovative cross-milling process in twenty-seven (27) different directions, the putter face is finished in a geometric pattern with exceptionally fine spacing. This structure enhances the mild and controlled feel of the putter.

After talking with Joe Hooper (aka Jhoops01) about the new KB-2 Center shaft, I was persistent about adding it to my rotation mainly because of the unique look that is presented by Bruce Sizemore and his staff. I’m really impressed with the new clean looks and smooth blends this putter offers without lacking that same great feel and control that the XB-1 offered.

FEEL and Performance
The feel was crisp, maybe from the quarter inch deep copper insert and the distance control was right on the money.  I normally play a ProV1X, but for comparison purposes, I also used several other manufactures balls.  I can honestly say that each of these felt as soft as the next and the quickness in which the ball actually started to “ROLL” end over end was very fast. 
I was also impressed with both the “Sock” type head cover as well as the matching two-toned grip.  I know it has been said before, but I can’t help but proclaim that this putter is nothing short of a work of art.
