The Tifosi Gavia model glasses are sunglasses equipped with three interchangeable lens geared for various light condition. The lenses can easily be switched out for the optimal clarity and focus while on the course, driving, or basically any outdoor activities.

Technology

The Gavia is made from a nearly indestructible nylon which Tifosi calls “Grimalid TR-90.” This is a homopolyamide nylon with high bending strength, resistance to UV wear, low density and high resistance to chemicals. This material is extremely "LIGHT" and "STRONG".

The “Hyrdophillic” nose pads are ventilated to aid in slip resistance and comfort. They’re designed to provide even more grip when you are perspiring. The pads are also fully adjustable and can barely been seen while addressing the golf ball, unlike most of the competitors.

The "Lenses"

The Gavia comes with three different lenses for different lighting conditions so you can optimize your view. The GT™ (GOLF/TENNIS) with23.2% light transmission, EC™ (EXTREME CONTRAST) with 36.2% light transmission , and AC RED™ (ALL-CONDITIONED RED) with 27% light transmission .

Lifetime warranty

Tifosi Optics™ will warranty any sunglass against manufacturer’s defects for the life of the product. Tifosi Optics™ will either replace or repair your glasses. There is a $10 processing fe that is accessed with all claims. This fee is payable by CREDIT CARD only.

Accessories:

Along with three sets on interchangeable, the Gavia's (like every pair of Tifosi eyewear) come with a nice hard case and cleaning cloth. The hard case has a zipper and would easily fit in your golf bag to protect your glasses when not in use. Also included inside the case is a separate storage section for the interchangeable lenses, so the other lenses will be with you during any weather conditions.

Personal Fitting/Preference:

The Gavia's are designed for people with medium to small heads. As with each pair of Tifosi sunglasses, each pair has it recommendations for proper fit. I decided on the Gavia's due to the fact that I like the "slimmer" more "narrow" look on my face.

I really liked the GT (golf/tennis), as I found that reading the greens and noticing the course contours with GT’s was really beneficial.

On a side note, the AC RED lenses were unbelievable behind the wheel driving.

The color contrasts were something like I had never seen before.

Conclusion

For those that do not know me, wearing sunglasses for me is just a part of life. I was hit in the left eye with a "line drive 3-wood" in 1996 and although I did not lose my eye totally, I did however sustain severe damage to my left eye that requires me to wear sunglasses in minimal light conditions. I have several pair of "HIGH END" sunglasses ($120-$250) laying around the house and in the glove box of the truck, and for the money, these are hands down the favorite. For the price of one pair of the expensive glasses I have laying around, you could literally buy 4-5 pairs of Tifosi glasses. Can you even count the lens combinations with 4-5 pair??  I can only say these get two "BIG THUMBS UP" from me.
