I am not the kind of guy who goes out and buys a new set of irons each year (although I know plenty of people who do) it’s been 3 or 4 years since the last time I bought new irons.

I now know why some of my friends buy new irons each year. They want the best on the market.

The Nike SQ Sumo irons were forgiving, easy to hit, and the distance was incredible. Iron technology has changed so much since my last purchase that I was shocked to see the difference of my old versus my new Nike irons.The first change I immediately noticed was the selection of clubs.

Traditionally I am used to carrying the 3-pw, the Nike SQ Sumo irons set is 4-AW. I found this so intriguing I had to write Nike to see why the change was made.
